She's Here!!!!

Tahlia Ruth Alger finally made it here! It was a short night and a very, very long morning. She made it here safe and sound. We had a few complications with the birth and was in labor for about eight hours. She was born around 9:45 sometime. She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long.

I think that she looks a lot like Ransom. Kinda funny! She is beautiful and we are so happy. I will end up having to be here for several days. This was not the birth that I had planned but it all turned out, we are happy and doing as good as can be.

Yes, I see Ransom, but oh what a joy to have both of you here, and doing well. The pictures of everyone helps us feel so close to family, since we are not able to be by your side. Thank you. Golda

Congratulations!! After talking to you on Sunday I hoped she'd come soon for you--I hate that last little bit! You're really on top of things, already blogging:) She does look like Ransom, when he was born and I brought dinner over I remember coming home and telling Jason what a cute baby he was. I'll be excited to see your new one soon! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Oh my gosh...I guess I wasn't kidding when I said I hoped that the next time I see you, you would be thinner. Did you run right home and jump on the trampoline? Oh she is beautiful, congrats. I hope that your recovery doesn't take too long. Please let me know if you need anything. A Mother's bond with her Daughter is lasting and oh so special. I am glad you will have that. I know boys are lovers too but girls are little Mother's helpers. I can't wait to see you both.
