Day at the Zoo
Every year the end of July or beginning of August Kennecott sends out booklets that have free passes for a lot of activities here in the valley, but only good for a couple of weeks. It always a lot of fun to get the booklets and take some time and do several of the activities with the kids. We took the kids to the zoo for the first time this year.
John and I love the bird show at the zoo and go to it every chance we get. Here below is an Antarctica Eagle, I think. It is huge!
After the zoo we went to the Grandma's and Grandpa's for naps and then headed to the Children's Museum for a bit and then met Mom and Dad at the Clark Planetarium to see an Imax. It was a lot of fun and a very busy day. Seriously who goes to all of those places in one day?
