An Owl

Yesterday afternoon John got very excited when he saw an owl perched on the back of a patio chair on our patio. He was so happy that he could spend some time playing with his new camera and figure out how it works and actually have a subject that would sit still. He took almost 100 pictures. The owl napped most of the afternoon and stayed until dark and then took off. We asked Ashton if the owl had brought any mail.
