Conference Sunday

These have taken forever to get but they are here now. Here are Ransom, Ashton and Garen at Grandma and Grandpa Hook's on Conference Sunday. They were so happy to see the popcorn!!
Ransom decided to try his hand at stacking. I forget how much they love things like this at this age! Here they were all taking turns jumping off the chair onto the ottoman. Crazy kids!!

sleepyheads!

I brought Garen home with me the other night so Laura and Jon could go out and by the time I got them home they all fell asleep. Usually I am just the boring sitter and a cautious driver now I am the mean sitter and a boring driver. That is a lot to swallow in one evening.

Grandpa!

Our faker shy little Ransom, who usually pretends not to like grandparents, was so gitty to have Grandpa Alger eating breakfast right next to him this morning that he was showing off his little tricks, after he had eaten, of course. How Cute!!
Here is Ashton who did not want to be left out of the photo opportunity. How Goofy!

Ashton and Ransom love eggs every morning for breakfast but this morning I had some of Mom's buttermilk scones with strawberry freezer jam. yummy! We have started a tradition years ago that we make scones on conference weekend. It was a hit and still is!

Popcorn?

Monday Ashton and Ransom had their friends over to play for a bit, Aderyn and Maddox. I got out a "sensory table" that I had made with corn kernels. All four of them had soooooooo much fun with it, I had kernels all over the house, but they played with it for an hour! Talk about cheap entertainment. Believe it or not they were still asking me for popcorn, imagine that!

Legos

Last week Ashton and his friend Aderyn were playing with Lego's and they were each building their own thing until they ran out. Then they decided to put them together. This is the very big building or tower that they built. They both have very distinct building styles for sure. They sure are fun!

little helpers!

I always have help when I cook whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. I am now just expected to let them help me now, whoo! As many of you know counter space is a premium in my kitchen and now I have even less to work with.

Let's see if this works!

Better yet let's see if I can work this. I am going to be very brave now.
Here is our funny, funny Ashton. I was cleaning the Grage the other day and he was helping me. When I was almost done I found a play tool of his and he was so excited that he went to find his tool belt and other tools and layed down to start fixing Ransom's trike.
This is Ransom feeding himself yogert last week and sitting at the table. He thinks that he is all grown up now and loves it!
Oh boy, I need to get a camera that you never turn off and the batteries never go dead. Sometimes just turing on the camera is too distracting to catch cute moments that we all love.
